hat ein zweites und letztes Konzert gegeben, welches ihm sehr viel Applaus brachte, aber wenig besucht war. Ich habe sein Spiel bereits karakterisirt: er ist ein echter und rechter Künstler, der das Edle will und kann. Er spielte im zweiten Konzerte das herrliche Violinkonzert von Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, der würdigste Nachfolger der Beethoven‘schen, dann Variazionen von David und die “Ciaconna” von Bach, Alles dies wurde vortrefflich ausgeführt. Frl. Bury sang Lieder und Herr Wieselmann schrie eine Arie aus “Otello”.

gave a second and final concert, which brought him a great deal of applause, but was poorly attended. I have already characterized his playing: he is a true and proper artist, who desires and is capable of the noble. In the second concert, he played the magnificent violin concerto by Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, the most worthy successor to Beethoven’s, then variations by David and the “Chaconne” by Bach. All of this was excellently executed. Miss Bury sang lieder and Mr. Wieselmann screamed an aria from “Otello”.
